Occupational Health and Safety is the main priority in Yemmak's work area.
Everyone is responsible for doing what is necessary within their jurisdiction to ensure a healthy and safe workplace. One of our most important goals is to protect all our employees and the environment we are in against the potential risks of our business.
In this direction;
- In the workplace and its add-ons; To ensure the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, visitors and company personnel working outside the workplace, in accordance with national and international OHS regulations and other OHS-related requirements, to have tools and Personal Protective Equipment, to ensure that they are used when necessary,
- To identify the risks that may cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace, to ensure the health, safety and social welfare of employees, visitors and subcontractors at all levels, to reduce any future material and moral losses that may arise for themselves and their families
- To identify and eliminate unsafe situations and movements that may cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace and its attachments, possible accident risks, by making an effective risk assessment,
- To educate our employees in the field of occupational health and safety and to ensure that they reach a good awareness of occupational health and safety,
- Considering the development of the industrial world, to anticipate possible situations that may be encountered in the future, to continuously improve and to review our situation,
- We are committed to making Yemmak an exemplary company before the affiliated institutions, chambers of industry and associations in terms of occupational health and safety practices, and ensuring the continuity of our OHS Management System, which has been established and implemented.
Occupational Health and Safety Goals
To eat; It considers human beings as the most valuable asset in all of its activities. By ensuring active participation of its employees in all processes of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, following the developing technologies, creating a safer and healthier working environment, minimizing any material and moral losses that may occur and adopts continuous improvement and development of the situation as its primary goal.In this context, it aims to take continuous steps forward by competing with itself by setting measurable targets.
Our measurable goals;
- To reduce the accident frequency rate from 10.68 to 8.00
- Reducing the Accident Severity Rate from 0.0338 to 0.02
- 95% compliance with timely closing of findings and nonconformities (CAPA).
- Determination of escape routes and emergency exit doors in case of emergency
- To provide at least 8 hours / year of OHS training per person.
- To conduct at least 1 practical training per year.
- Having periodic checks complete and on time
- To increase the Near-Miss Notification Rate by 100%
- To increase the Non-Compliance Notification Rate by 100%
- To achieve 90% success in the number of closing decisions of the board
In addition, senior management undertakes that OHS targets will be achieved.
